We are the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms, C-CAMP, an organization that envisages enablement of cutting-edge life sciences research and innovation for societal impact.

Conceptualised by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India in 2009 as a catalyst of research and innovation in the life sciences, we at C-CAMP have established ourselves as an architect of societal change through science and technology in India and beyond. C-CAMP is a major platform technology base, industry- oriented innovation hub, and startup ecosystem that provides support to researchers, innovators and entre- preneurs developing solutions for socially relevant problems across healthcare, agriculture and environment domains. C-CAMP is a founding member of the Bangalore Life Sciences Cluster (BLiSC), also comprising of NCBS, inStem and TIGS.

Our mission is to enable high-end scientific research and catalyze deep science innovations for societal impact.

To do this, we:

-> Create, develop, and establish high-end technology platforms and make them available and accessible for researchers across India.

-> Build a thriving, entrepreneur-friendly ecosystem to stimulate deep science innovation and entrepreneurship in India.

-> Facilitate and support research translation and commercialisation of scientific breakthroughs and technological innovations from academic labs and startups for the industry.

C-CAMP has positioned itself as India’s premier hub for research, technology and innovation in the biosciences with impact in healthcare, agriculture and environment sectors. We are connected to a national and international network of innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and thought leaders in our road to building this vibrant and agile ecosystem. We hope to expand our capabilities, nurture existing partnerships and forge new ones as we continue to harness science for society.
